Scottish Court in the Netherlands -- Consultation meetings of Prof. Hans
Koechler

In his capacity as international observer at the Scottish Court in the Netherlands, Professor Hans Koechler met on 6 December 2001 at UN Headquarters in New York with the United Nations Under Secretary-General for Legal Affairs, Mr. Hans Corell. Professor Koechler was accompanied by the additional observer of the I.P.O., Mr. Robert Thabit, Esq., and explained his report of 3 February 2001 on the Lockerbie Trial.
Professor Koechler subsequently (13 December 2001) met in London at the House of Commons with Mr. Tam Dalyell MP and Mr. Scott Cranston MP, former Solicitor-General of the United Kingdom, to brief them on his ongoing observer mission.
He presented his explanatory statement of 7 June 2001 concerning the nature of his observer mission on the basis of Security Council resolution 1192 (1998).
