President of International Progress Organization visits Egypt for cultural contacts

The Minister of Culture, Youssef Al-Sebai, received Dr. Hans Köchler, President of the International Progress Organization, who is on a tour through the countries of the Near East in order to discuss cultural affairs that relate to his organization. He will today fly to Kuwait and onwards to Abu Dhabi in order to conduct similar talks there.

The United Nations supports the organization. A three-day conference will be held in Innsbruck, Austria, from 27 July 1974 to discuss cultural problems that concern all countries.

This year's conference will be held under the auspices of the Federal President of Austria, Franz Jonas, and the President of Senegal, Sédar Senghor.
